On May 3rd and 4th, 2006, the 10th Wiesbadener Kunststoffrohrtage (Wiesbaden Plastic Pipe Days) took place. During this event, Dr. J. Hessel gave a presentation titled "Von der Idee zum Erfolg: 50 Jahre Rohrsysteme aus Polyethylen - eine Betrachtung aus ingenieurtechnischer Sicht". This presentation examined the development and application of PE pipe systems over a span of 50 years. It discussed engineering aspects, technological advancements, and the success story of PE pipes. The Plastic Pipe Days provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of plastic pipe technology and contribute to the further development of this important infrastructure component.
