The third conference, "Kunststoffe im Anlagenbau", took place on March 7-8, 2012, focusing on the selection and design of thermoplastics, as well as industrial piping systems and container and apparatus construction. Practical reports and operational experiences with technical plastics in plant engineering were highlighted, along with container calculations and updates on relevant laws, standards, and guidelines. Future trends were also discussed.

A key presentation was delivered by Dr. J. Hessel, who explored extended application possibilities for PE 100-RC in container and apparatus construction.

The conference provided an opportunity to gain insights from application and experience reports presented by renowned companies, emphasizing direct practical relevance. Attendees could engage with experienced experts about the latest findings in applications and explore products and services from exhibitors at the accompanying trade exhibition.
