Experiences in the Implementation of PAS 1075
The development of PE 100 materials has resulted in PE 100-RC, which is resistant to slow crack growth in accordance with PAS 1075. This specification details the dimensions, requirements, and testing protocols for PE 100-RC pipes used in alternative installation techniques. Experiences gained from implementing PAS 1075 address various questions related to these techniques.
The previous application of PAS 1075 has led to satisfactory results for both raw material suppliers and pipe manufacturers. The bilingual nature of PAS 1075 has significantly contributed to its widespread adoption by gas and water suppliers beyond European borders.
